Slaney 1 is an acute medical ward with 16 beds.

Overview

The patients are looked after by a dedicated multi disciplinary team in a calm, clean, well organised ward environment.

We are here to listen to support and educate our patients on their journey of recovery.

We are committed to providing nursing care holistically and with the patient always in our focus.

Visiting

To visit:

• outside of normal visiting hours
• in the case of critically ill patients
• in exceptional circumstances

Please seek the agreement of the nurse manager on duty.

Recommended visiting duration is 30 minutes.

Children under 12 years, apart from patients own children, should not be brought to visit.

Additional restrictions will apply from time to time e.g. during outbreaks of infectious diseases.
